I've just been crazy busy.
And I'm taking a class that requires computer work.
Causing me to spend less time on this blog and more time on that blog, to fulfill my requirements.

I am going to a Lady Gaga concert.
I'm excited.
I have to get myself together first.
I've been slacking, messing stuff up.
I don't know what's wrong with me.
And, bloody hell, you'd think I'm on some drugs or went to school drunk or something.
Nope.
Just wasting away sober.
It's a thing.
Hopefully I'll move on shortly.

Also, everything I say in my head is in an accent.
A sort of Australian accent speaking British slang.
I don't have much of a British accent.
Ever since I lived in Australia for a bit when I was younger.
Impressionable, I guess.

Well, it was nice catching up with you, but I'm off to finish my course work.
I've got loads of math.
Oh! My courses for this semester... I never told you...

"Business" Media (the website class)
Advanced Functions Math
Spanish (level 3 - I skipped a year and am taking AP next year... long story)
Globalization/World Issues (somewhat like my class I took at my old school)

Keeps me busy.

Almost too busy.

I might end up with 2 spares next year though.
One per semester.
I think I signed up for:
Calculus and Vectors
Data Management
English
Business Leadership
International Business
Law
Politics

and AP Spanish, which is an out-of-school non-credit-for-graduation course
it just lets me take the AP exam
but I'll probably drop either law or politics

I believe one is taught by the same teacher I had for anthro last semester
*shuddering*
not. gonna. happen.

my friend Amber is in law this year, but the level under the one I'm signing up for, so if she continues, we may be in the same class (if I don't drop it... :x)

It might be good for me to have 2 spares.
Let's look at it this way...
I am taking 2 (or 3... not exactly sure) courses I need for uni this year
and I only need 6 total
so if I take:
both maths, english, both businesses and EITHER law or politics, I'll be fine for getting into university
as long as i get good grades
which i usually do
if i just turn my shit around
sorry for the cussing
I'll go wash my mouth out with math

Been better...

I have been getting better.
But still not best.
I've just been working hard.
Trying to keep my grades up.

Life is a bit hectic.

And, of course,
Valentine's Day is Monday.
As a teenager, this is one of those days that are "important" for now.

I think I like this guy.
But I'm trying not to because it follows my bad pattern.
He is older and kind of a bad boy.
I'm an idiot.
I'm trying to just not think about it.
It works sometimes.

Other times, not so much.

I want to go skating with my friends, but I don't know if that will happen.
They went today, I think.
I was invited but couldn't.

I DID, however, meet two people in the park.
I was walking my dog.
And let go of her leash so she could run over to my mum, walking with me.
These two people were watching her run as they made a snowman.
Then we asked if she could run to them and they said yes.
They played with her for a bit and we talked for a good amount of time.

Long story short, bascially they are my age and, in the end, we exchanged names and numbers to keep in contact.
They are Australians here for the year.
Hopefully they will add me on Facebook.
I'd like to hang out with them sometime.
It would be cool.

My mum just asked if I was writing a novel.
I said yes and now she is just annoyed.

First Exam Today

It went well, for what an English exam can be.
I think I got an A.

But now I have to study for math
--in other words, hopeless.

I need a 56 on this exam in order to still have an A in the class (I think)

I plan on doing better than that, so hopefully something won't go horribly wrong.

I am debating whether or not I should go to school and as my math teacher a couple of questions.
I have a study group for tomorrow and they all seem to understand.

I just heard my mom's television go on, so maybe I should text her and tell her what is going on...

Yeah, I need to study for English and my math teacher said she would be around at 12:30/1 (probably closer to 1) to ask quick questions and I feel that, since it isn't a normal day to come and ask questions (today was the first day of actual testing), it would be weird to go in...

I guess it is all what my mom thinks and she will probably think it is best to go in.
Who knows.
I better text her and see what is happening today.

"Tutorial Day"

Today was a really cool day at school.
We have finals this week and next.
Today was the day where you show up and ask questions to your teachers and get extra hints about what is on the finals.

I went at 8am to math and worked for about 50 minutes.
Then I went to English and spent a while there, asking questions and going over some stuff.

After English, I went to anthropology.
That was one of the best decisions ever.
He narrowed down our review packet to one page.
Instead of 3 pages of size 8 font.

So happy about that.

I bought my first pair of skates yesterday.
I really like them.
I am having a bit of trouble with the guards though, so I have to go and deal with that (hopefully today).

I have my first final on Wednesday (english)
Then I set up a study group for after that.
We are meeting to study for math.
Which is on Thursday.

*sigh*

Okay, I have to go and study so I can go and deal with my skates soon.

Yeah, a 100% on something that is worth a good percentage of your final grade is pretty good.
In Anthropology, I got somewhere above a 90% I think it was a 94% on my summative, so that is also really good.
I have math on monday and tuesday (as previously stated) and english is a process that has already started.

I was feeling really sick after school so I didn't get any work done for a few hours.
I should go so I can make up for missed time.

I really like it too.
I don't usually TRULY like it after its all done.
But this time is different.

Onto a more serious topic:
I didn't update all of this past week.
True.
I have valid reasoning, though.

It was the first week back from vacation and I had to get back into my routine.
And I have all of my summatives and finals coming up.
It is a crazy month.

I presented my anthropology summative on Tuesday.
I have my Spanish summative on Monday.
My math summative is a week from Monday.
And I have no idea when my English summative is but I know it is a speech and we are starting to work on it this week...

I'm going crazy.
Within all of these summatives, we are still continuing with class,
I still tutor,
and I have dance on wednesdays,
I have friends, too.
Very little time.
I am actually on the computer far less than I would LIKE to be.

And I feel like posting every day just sounds redundant.
I always do the same things.
And the things that are different either aren't worth mentioning, aren't pleasant to relive in a story telling time,
or I'm too tired to type it all up.

I ache everywhere.
And I hope I get back into my groove soon.
My next big break is in March.
It is only a week.

I'm trying to convince my parents to let me go to Washington D.C. with a friend of mine.
I don't know how much I want to actually go, but if I decide I do really want to go, I don't want it to be too late.
Considering they're saying no and will continue to do so, I don't plan on pushing my luck too much.

Speaking of D.C., one brother has left from being on break, but the other remains.
And I am getting sick of him.
I don't wish to go into all of the details.
But I do wish he would leave a bit sooner so I can start missing him.

I have a math quiz almost everyday this upcoming week and a test on Friday, so I better go.

My new year's resolution is to give up.

I know, I know.
Sounds like a bad plan to most of society.
But to the little part of society that understands,

thank you.
I appreciate that.

Don't get me wrong.
I don't want to be a failure.
And, hopefully, I won't be.

But people don't tend to follow through with their resolutions because they are set.
Not only are they a set goal, but they let other people know.
That is why, with all of the peer expectation, people fail.
So I am making it perfectly clear that my plan is to give up.
And I hope with all of my might that I fail.
But one can never be sure.
I mean, if this goes horribly, horribly right....
well, then I'll have a problem to deal with...
and unless that takes until next year, I guess my plan will work.
Success?
I can smell it, can't you?

My goal for this vacation was to get sleep and not procrastinate.
Looky what we have here....
I didn't get enough sleep and I procrastinated like an idiot.

What a smart child I am.
Maybe if I actually LISTENED to myself, instead of saying,

Crazy week

Last week I went back home.
I visited with people.
Went to my old school and did some shopping at my favorite stores.
Then I got back on Thursday and cleaned my construction zone of a room
that way my friend was allowed to come over.
My friend came up to visit me on Saturday.
We spent Christmas night together and all of
Boxing Day / her birthday
together.
Then on Monday we had breakfast together and she left.
Now I am here today.
Realizing I have to start on the work I have to do for vacation and whatnot.
Joyous.

I don't really know what else to say.
Just that I need to get back into my normal sleep schedule.
I don't know if I am going back to the daily posting just yet.

an HOUR of contemporary dance

then I went dress shopping with my friends because Amber needs a dress
she has a dance to go to over break

then after shopping,
I walked back home
to go out right away and walk my dog
then I did that
and now I am here....
I got home probably an hour ago...

ONE MORE WEEK.

Only one more week until it is break.

Next Saturday I am going to a party,
Saturday night/Sunday (not sure) I am going home.
Sunday night I am getting together with all of my friends from back home!!!!

Then I am taking care of bid-naz and doing stuff back home
and I return on Thursday.
So I am basically there from Sunday to Wednesday.
Because we leave REALLY early on Thursday.

Then on that weekend (Christmas weekend),
my friend is coming up to see me.
Ironically, because I am coming down there right before.
But it isn't the same as coming to see where I live now.

She has a hotel here and everything and it is close to me so it will be easy to meet up.
She is coming for the night of the 25th and the 26th.
Coincidentally (not really), the 26th is her birthday!

I say not really because she planned to see me for her birthday :D

Anyway I gotta feed my dog lunch and get back to my endless amount of work.

I have a summative and a project due in anthro, a quiz in english, a secret santa gift to buy for spanish, and enough math hw to keep me busy for a month.

It was warm and the next best thing to her being my pillow.

but its volunteer work and I just log my hours and they will sign the sheet
that sheet is so annoying

and doing this volunteer work

Although this isn't the first time it has happened, it just happened..
So I thought I would post about it.

Haha.

I was in the shower and my music was playing on my speakers.
I was singing along to Mike Posner's "Cooler Than Me"
And the song ends and I am humming along to the music,
waiting for the next song to come on.
There is one second of silence.
Enough of a second to think "hmm I wonder what this will be"
Then, blasting on high?

On another note...
My brother is home!
He is home for the week.

I went to dance.
Therefore, I got home at ~4:30.
But it was a bad storm so there was a lot of wind and rain
so I got home closer to 5
but I got home and literally started to work
no break

yeah that's a long time to do homework.
about 5 hours longer than i would prefer
if I have to do homework at all, that is...

but I wanted to update you on my life

that is, if I want to watch Glee and not feel guilty.

And I need to find something for dinner.

I tutored today. An hour.
I so far have 4 hours of tutoring down.
And I have another hour down for thursday
Except I kind of have to count my thursday spanish tutoring as 45 minutes
which isn't a big deal
just annoying

but if i keep it at an hour on tuesday
and an hour on thursday
then by the end of this semester ill have (hopefully) half of what i need
and then i can either tutor again next semester or I can tutor next year
or volunteer for someone else

Things aren't looking down.

But my headaches aren't going away and my room still smells like cigarettes.
Ugh.
But still, not looking down right now.

Unfortunately, I gotta keep this shorter than what I would like to post.
Too much work, too little time.

Then after awaking, I walked my dog with my mom
and came home, showered
worked so that my hair would dry
and now I am here
after dinner
with mostly dry hair
and mostly done homework

I am kind of tired though.
Mostly because I haven't been feeling well.
And I dread sleeping in my room.
And the idea of having to move again next summer makes me more sick
but the fact that my nose is runny
i have headaches
and i just feel icky
makes life sucks

Oh but I painted one of my nails

that was kinda fun

and that was my day.

And it is healing from the inside out.

And kind of hurts because it gets irritated.

It is from the smoke smell from around my apartment.

So was today.

At least I got to sleep..
Oh wait.

I went to bed at like midnight and woke up at 9 am.
To babysit my dog while my parents went out.

And I was so tired yesterday.
Longest feeling week ever.

I ended up only tutoring one kid on Thursday.
But, now, I will be tutoring that kid on Tuesdays.
On Thursdays, I will be tutoring Spanish at lunch.

My week now looks like this:
Monday - Glee club / House at 8
Tuesday - Tutor math / Glee at 8
Wednesday - Dance / hang out with friends (therefore, I come home late)
Thursday - Tutor Spanish / Bones at 8
Friday - Almost always busy
Saturday - Caturday (long story)
Sunday - Take care of business.

Like a boss.

Speaking of taking care of business...
I have homework to get done so I am free to do random, unnecessary stuff tomorrow.

The Anthropology quiz today wasn't horrible.

I tutored someone in math after school today.
That went pretty well.

Today sucked.
I don't really want to talk about it.
It sucked as much as last night.
Which sucked a lot.

And I am just not doing well lately.

I am tutoring kids tomorrow, so I am going to be super tired.

I walked at least twice as far today because I met my mother somewhere.
I volunteered to walk over and meet her, but I didn't realize how far it was until I was only half way there.

Tutoring

I am now, officially, a tutor.

I had one tutoring sesh last week.
But it was kind of a fail.
So this week is about to get serious.

I am now tutoring 3 kids:
2 in Spanish
1 in Math

Well, one officially in Spanish.
I haven't replied to the other.
Scheduling conflicts right now.
Working them out though.

I got some marks back.
Not all good ones :x

Ugh it is killer.

My school week now looks like this:
Monday - Glee
Tuesday - []
Wednesday - dance
Thursday - tutoring
Friday - busy

This is what I want it to look like:
Monday - Glee club / House at 8
Tuesday - tutor math after school / Glee at 8
Wednesday - dance
Thursday - tutoring at lunch
Friday - same busy

Not much of a change, but just the little would make the difference.

I have a math test tomorrow.
And Friday.

And I took a Spanish quiz today (easy)

Hallow's Eve

I went to a Halloween party.
"Party", actually.
It was just hanging out.
It kinda sucked, actually.

I left early because I was super bored.
Then I was supposed to hang out with different friends.
But didn't.
To make a long story short, that is.

Then today, I was excited to go to Glee club.
The problem is, there is absolutely no order.
The club head is a grade nine guy.
And I basically help him in taking charge every meeting.
I told him at the end (basically):

"I am willing to work with you.
I can be co-president with you.
We can organize this and get it done right."

And he agreed that it would be a good idea.

Hopefully this will work out.

My parents are out again.
So I have a good amount of time to finish work, watch some TV, talk with friends..
Maybe, if I actually work, I will have time to play guitar.

It is so much FUN.

I am always the one coming up with ideas and songs.
And I lead most of the songs vocally.
I don't mean to sound prissy about myself.

AND we should cut the time short by 10 minutes and have lunch at the END.
Because most people have dairy at lunch, which isn't good for singing.

Just a few ideas.

Especially since one of the co-directors resigned.

This is the reason as to why I sing so much in general now.
I feel weird singing when I shower because we live in an apartment.
So my neighbor could hear me.
I tend to sing worse in the shower.

Just because it is more fun.
But I don't because someone else could hear me.
So now I just sing a lot during the day.
I sing well though.
Possibly better than before.
Who will ever know?

Surely not the owl from the Tootsie Pop commercial.

What am I even talking about?

Oh yeah, math.
I don't like it anymore.
I am not going to be doing well from now until the rest of the semester.
I am trying to now find a career that doesn't involve much math.

Shakespeare Biography

Yepp, English class is in the computer lab today and tomorrow.
We are working in groups on projects based on the Shakespeare play we are reading:
Macbeth.

My group got really lucky.
We chose Shakespeare's biography as our topic to present on.
Which is lucky.
Because, although important,
is easier than assessing Elizabethan culture in terms of the plays.

If we had more than 6 minutes to present, it wouldn't necessarily be the easiest.

Today were parent-teacher conferences.
My parents were only allowed to see my English and Math teacher.
(according to my rules, of course)
Haha.

I am doing really well in those classes, apparently.

I have A/A- averages.
Which is apparently hard to do.
But I feel like the level is a bit low for me here.
I am not doing as much as a should.
In turn, though, my grades haven't all been PERFECT.
Just, good.
Especially compared to the others around me.
Considering I am in one of the best schools in the province,
I would think it would be crazy difficult.
But it is just the same, or not as difficult, as my old school.
Which I am okay with, especially because the name of the school is a good one.
*shrug*

Apparently, I need 6 "university credits" in order to get into university.
University, I believe, is just like AP courses.
And since I am taking 3 this semester, 3 next semester, for sure...
Well, I should be fine for that.

If I want to keep up my grades, though, I have to do homework.
Unfortunately.
Math and anthropology homework are the most for tonight.
No spanish and english is voluntary.
As in, we are working on the stuff in class tomorrow, too.
So I won't really do anything.
Hopefully I'll have time to play guitar.
I have had more and more time to play guitar recently.
Which I am perfectly fine with.
No complaints here.

Also, there is a guy.
Well, there are a few guys in my life right now.
Some I am happy about, some I am not.
One that I am not happy about is this guy that my friend
(Chris)
was trying to set me up with.
To go to the dance.
Next week.
Luckily for me, he can't go.
Because I looked him up on Facebook (duhh)
and he looks nerdy
but not cute nerdy--loser nerdy...
I do not want to go anywhere with this kid.

Good guys in my life:
Despite the current set-up situation, Chris is my best guy friend

Then there is this guy, Sirus, who is kinda cute.
Who is friends with Liam, who is really cute, who is in my math class

He is adorable.
He is a ballroom dancer.
I know him from dance club.
We are friends.
He has a girlfriend.
I don't like him like that.
Nor do I like any of the guys I have listed (I think)
[I have really decided yet. I am conflicted.]
But he is adorable, like when you think your guy friend is cute
but you KNOW that you wouldn't go out with them just because.
one of those things, ya know?

I actually looked at the clock at 9pm and said:

I also looked at the clock and said:
"I'm going to fall asleep and my homework isn't done yet. I still haven't posted...
Maybe I'll just play a 'mind game'..?"
Yeah. Skilled.

But Wednesdays are super busy for me because I get home late.
I have dance club after school for an hour and then I hang out with my friends for roughly another hour after that.
So I get home at around 5 or 6, depending on how long we hang out or if the club runs over.

Then I have homework, varying by week.
And I have to play with my dog/walk her/show that I am putting effort into the responsibilities of taking care of her.
And I have to find time to do other stuff before I am too tired.
Which is 7pm.
Haha.

Only because I don't sleep enough.
I am working on that.

I am also working on going back to visit my friends.
I think I have hit a spot when I can go that my parents approve of.
Still crossing my fingers.

It is hard to be tied-down.
And, well, if we are serious during the school year, well...
Summer comes around..
I feel bad during the summer.
It is hard to keep our thing going during the summer.

I mean, we start to get a good thing going and then...
BOOM.
It is summer.
What am I expected to do?
Summer, well, things happen.
Drifting apart.

Then school comes back.
We'll probably go back to the way things were before summer.
No big deal.
But it is hard to go back at first.
A bit awkward.

Like meeting at each other's lockers between classes.
Seeing each other everyday..
If I forget, well it gets weird.

And having to start up next year.
We have to catch up on what we did over the summer.

We could always catch up every once-in-a-while
like I tried to do this past summer.

It is just difficult to remember to keep up with you.
You do your thing, I do mine.

How about we don't call this thing serious yet?
I don't know if I am ready for that..
School is a big deal in my life right now.
I can't be too distracted.
Maybe if I find myself able to take away the time
from my busy schedule...

She just sigh/yawned.

We went on an hour long walk earlier.
So she should be tired enough to nap.
But she has the energy of a puppy still...

Then other times she is all tired..
*shrug*
As long as she is happy...

WIN!
She just turned around and laid down.
That usually means she is going to actually sleep.

I am going to take advantage of this by getting some work done.

Not really dog sitting, but baby sitting.
She is like a child.

I have to do everything with her and when she is sleeping I have to sneak around to do things.
I usually can only touch my toes or something.
No range of motion or she is up and ready to play again.

She is sleeping on one of my feet right now.
The other one is on the coffee table, so as not to step on her.

I am on the phone with my brother.
He is sick.
Ugh.

My other brother went to visit him today.
Got him to go out and get some food and walk around.
He feels better now.

Not much else is going on.
My parents are at a wedding.
And tomorrow they have business to take care of.
Therefore, I am watching the dog.

Better go before she suspects I am having "fun".

That is happening to my legs right now.
I have been sitting with my computer on my lap and haven't moved in like 20 minutes.

And now I am being made to change the channel I am listening to on the television.

I should probably get off of the computer now.

Whether or not that was correct, I am pulling my hair out in Spanish.
I am bored to tears.

I am sitting in level 1 Spanish because level 4 didn't fit into my timetable.

I guess so...

I have an appointment with my guidance counsellor tomorrow morning.
I want to talk to him about next semester courses and my future.
Whatever that is.

I mean, I have to start looking at university now.
I think I am a bit late for looking anyway -- I don't really know.

I don't know what country I want to look in.
Or what region.
Or what I really want to do.

I have a few thoughts.
But I don't know...

Anyway, I better go and finish my Spanish "project"...

The nose bleeds have stopped!

I had ~4-5 nose bleeds in a period of 2 days.

Not.
Fun.

And I was/am still stuffed up in mah nose.
Yeah, I spelled "my" that way.
Deal with it.
I don't feel too great and I can't even take a sick day from school.
I have too much to do.

I am not sure when I will pick up my daily posting again.
I have a few known days coming up that I won't be able to go onto the computer.

To be honest, I haven't been on the computer much since school started.
Less than usual, at least.
And there are some days where I don't go on it at all.

There are a few obvious reasons:
1. less classes = different work/less to be typed all in one night
2. iPhone = more internet capabilities at my fingers
3. iPhone = no need to go upstairs to ask Google a question/look something up
4. iPhone = don't need to be home to search things and do homework

I mean, I know it sounds like I am promoting the iPhone, but I will be the first to say that it isn't for everyone.
After ~2 years of an iPod touch, I am ready to have full access to its abilities anywhere.

To clear up any misunderstanding:
when I moved, I had to get a new phone;
my parents let me pick any phone I wanted
I chose the iPhone 4.

I had friends over today!
We had an anthro assignment/project thingy.
It is almost done information-wise.
Then we have to make it purdy,
practice so we know what to say,
and be ready for Tuesday.

As we were working together,
we realized that the 3 of us were like the "clique" of Lizzie McGuire;
I'm like Lizzie,
Chris is like Gordo (minus the secret crush on me - HA)
and Elisha is like Miranda.

The only problem was that we have another person in our main group:
Amber.
She just isn't in our anthro class.
So we had to think:
Who could she be?
(I know, we were really working HARD on this project!)
Then, it hit us:
the cartoon version of Lizzie!

Because they both have input and funny little things to say.
And, although a bit dramatic at times (what teenage girl isn't?),
they think what everyone else is thinking and at times, both of them
(cartoon & Amber)
aren't afraid to say it.

That explanation was way too long.

Obviously, my fingers - the ones typing this -
are aware that I should be doing English homework.
Yes, I know it is 10pm.
But I worked on that anthro project.
And my math was done before school ended.
And I didn't have Spanish homework.
Which left English.

So worked with them until ~5pm
then from ~5-~6:30 I talked with my mom and played with my dog
Then from ~6:30-7:54 we went to the roof to play with the dog (its like a patio up there)
And from 8-9 I watched Glee.
Then I watched some YouTube videos.
Showered.
And now I am here, typing.

I think I should go work now, before my parents get home,
ask why I haven't done the 4 questions I have to answer for English,
and make me come up with an answer that makes it sound like I wasn't wasting time
(from their POV).

In my new room, I have managed to fit a
1) bed
2) dresser (~3 feet tall, 2 feet wide)
3) desk
4) reallyyyyy thin bookshelf
5) chair
6) mini fridge
7) television
8) trash can

Sounds like a lot, I know.
But it isn't.
And the room is small, therefore the stuff looks like even more.

Last night, before going to bed I was watching Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon.
Leno had Jane Lynch on (from Glee)
Fallon had Cory Monteith on (from Glee)
The season premiere of Glee is on today.

I made it through a lot of Fallon, but dosed off before Cory Monteith.
Insinuating that I left the television on.
Which is sadly, a fact.

I woke up this morning.
I don't remember what was on.
But I also woke up 15 minutes late.
I am just glad that I wake up on time to be early for school.
That way, when I wake up late, I am still able to be early for school.
I would have to sleep in 30-40 minutes to risk being late for school.

I am going to go play guitar.

I did no homework at all last night.

I just finished my English reading.

On Friday I had done the first assignment for math.
Unsuccessfully.
I didn't understand much of it.

Which sucks.
A lot.

I got my computer out because I have to do Anthro and English work.
*sigh*

On a non-academic note:
I think I like a guy.
Not really sure if I should though.
He is one of my new friends.

I don't want to be one of those people who can't just be friends with a guy.
Which I'm not because I can count 2 guy friends.
Of course, one is gay.
And the other I liked in the past...
BUT I moved on!

And we are friends now.
So that counts, right?
Right!?
UGH.

This guy is cute and smart.
And nice.

He is one of those guys that wasn't popular /at all/.
And now he is more popular than he was.
I think it is because he found his "thing".
Crew, that is -- rowing.
On a team.

I was talking to him and my other friend and I said "I need something to do after school besides go home and work"
And he immediately said "Join CREW!"
But I just can't imagine me rowing.
Or on a boat.
Or near water and not swimming.
I would rather swim.
But not on swim team.

I think there is a club fair next week...
maybe I'll find something to do there.

Yeah.
The whole reason I posted was because I wanted to talk about him.
Gosh, I need help.

I haven't posted in a while.
I am so overwhelmed.

I have a lot of school work.
And I am trying to make friends.

Although I have made a few, I am also holding onto my old friends.

It is around 9am right now.
I woke up at 7:15am.
I am at home.

On a normal day, school starts at 8:50.
I thought school started at 8:50 today.
But I guess they decided not to tell a new student this information.
I went in to school at around 8:10 and talked to my guidance counsellor.
Because I didn't have math.
I think I mini-ranted about this...

Well, at least I got math.
Had to give up my art class.
No biggie.

I now have a first semester with:

Intro to Anthropology, Psychology, and Sociology
English
Math
Latin

Today at 12:30 I have to be in intro to anthro to start the day
and then there are roughly 20 minute classes until 2:05
Passing time, included.
Apparently, it is a day for upperclassmen to meet their teachers and for teachers to meet students
Which I had at my old school, but still.
Nobody told me.

It is rainy today.

I signed up for classes yesterday.
Didn't go so well.
I only NEED English and Math.
I only GOT INTO English.

I don't know what will happen.
This should be interesting.

I was just going to take math as a night course.
But it just isn't right.
I should be allowed to take a mandatory-to-graduate class.

Urgh.
And my guidance counsellor is new.
I was his "first customer" on his first day of work.
He knew like nothing.

Yay me!

At least my place isn't horrible.
Just unpacking is deadly.
Especially because it doesn't all fit.

I was playing guitar and listening to music before I started this, but I wanted to mini-rant about that.

I have an okay room.
Things fit.

I just got back from walking my dog around downtown.

We literally live DOWNTOWN.
It is an apartment building.
And you walk outside the main door and it is a little fountain area.
And then it is the major downtown shopping, restaurants, pubs, and clubs.

I am tired though.
It was an hour long walk.
Hopefully, I will return to posting more soon.
But it is hectic in my life right now.

On Tuesday, I register for school.
