I spent today learning my vocabulary words and sleeping.
And playing with my dogs.
I also had an interesting conversation with one of my parents about the school system.
Everybody I have ever had a conversation with about the school system - including a principal - seem to think it needs to change.
I accept that it won't change by the time I am out of school.
I have gotten used to it, as everybody else has, but is that really how it should be?
Obviously not.
If people aren't happy, then why doesn't somebody change it?
Why don't I change it?
Because I don't have an alternate method.
Another thing I talked about with my parent, as I was complaining about having to learn the vocabulary unit I "need" to know, was that we do not learn the vocabulary or even hear about it in class except "Vocabulary Test on Friday!".
Who needs that?
Isn't homework supposed to be an extension of what you learn during the school day, furthering your understanding?
Apparently not.
Oh! Oh! Oh!
I have a story!!
Yay, story time!!
I have a friend, who will be called Liz in this blog.
Liz went to a party a week ago.
Liz met a guy at this party.
This guy liked Liz a lot and she liked him back.
Or so she thought.
She talked with him via the interwebs for a while and yesterday, she agreed to go out with him.
By go out, I don't mean boyfriend and girlfriend. I mean go on a "date".
She didn't want him to move to quickly so she brought along a friend and he brought a friend too.
Apparently, he couldn't keep his hands off of her and he kept kissing her "over 50 times".
This was their first date.
Second time meeting.
Ever.
How creepy is that?
He kept telling her that he loves her.
I have never heard of any teenage guy making moves this quickly on a girl.
Well actually, I watched the movie American Pie so I guess I have.
Laugh out loud XP
No, seriously though, it wasn't a date where they were even alone.
They were with other people.
How awkward must that be?
Also, Liz said she kept trying to avoid the kisses...
...Somebody didn't get the picture...
This is all I really know about the story as of now, well...
Actually, I know that she is going to tell him that she doesn't want to see him any more.
If anything interesting happens, I'll try to update here.
Was that a good story?
(just smile and nod, smile. and. nod.)
Mmkay :D
I am still thinking of a good sign-off-way-to-say-good-bye thingy.
Yepp.
